Simplify your life (pseuwisdom 8:1-12)

I always thought my life is a bit crowded with people and things. I want to make it more simple. I read this in zenhabit about how to simplify my life.

Make a short list (4 or 5 item) about things that's important to me. It straightens my priorities and make room for that things in my life.

Drop one commitment. People have a lot of commitment in his life whether he like it or not or whether he realized it or not. Juggling through commitment is much more difficult than just drop one of the commitments.

Purge a drawer. This is what I like the most. Throwing things that you don't like is enjoyable. You never realize that most of your stuff is trash and you'll never use it ever again.

Simplify your to-do list. Everyday, I seems have a lot of stuff to do. Shorten my to-do list by finding items that can be eliminated, delegated, automated, outsourced, or ignored.

Free up time. Just do one of this things. Wake earlier, watch less TV, eat lunch at your desk, take a walk for lunch, disconnect from the Internet, do email only once today, shut off your phones, do 1 less thing each day.

Clean your desk. It's very much like purge a drawer.

Clear out your email inbox. This I already done for quite sometime. It's nice to see an empty email inbox.

Move slower. Be more deliberate. Be present.

Set limits. Limit everything that you do and stick to it. Don't give in to your gluttony and want it all.

Single-task. Stick to one task and remove all distractions, resist any urge to check email or do some other habitual task like that while you’re doing the task at hand.

Eventhough I'm not going to become a master in a day. I will try to practice it right now.
