Designing Your Life (Pseuwisdom 6:1-9)
06 September 2007
1 Let's say you had a blank day staring at you. You didn't have to work. You could do anything at all (although money is still a limiting factor). What would your perfect day be like?
2 That question was read few weeks ago in zen habits and I have to design what my life would be. there are few hints to help me design. Here are some of them
3 What's important? My love life. My family. My writing. And the fact that I'm still alive until now because of God.
4 What is your passion? My passion is reading and writing stories. That what I love the most. Eventhough a lot of gruelling distraction prohibit that, my true passion is still writing and reading
5 Design your day. Start with a blank slate, and design your perfect day. Incorporate the short list of 4-5 most important things above, to ensure that you are spending your day doing what's most important to you. Also include time spent working at your passion.
6 Figure out how to get there. Well, it will take money. A lot and lot of money. Well, not really. Since I already can call my love, and my family and I still find sometime writing in the afternoon if I'm not lazy.
7 Start making some changes immediately. This is the hard part. I don't say that I'm lazy or anything, but I distracted easily. I don't know why I'm a little bit ADD.
8 Start making long-term changes now. I'm making that. It's painful to see that you can't reap it right away. But, be patient and it will end with a good result
9 Keep the end in mind. Print out your perfect day, and keep that in mind as you begin to make changes. I will do exactly that. Thank you very much.
