1 First hear this song in one of the episode on CSI, but when I found out that this is also played in Donnie Darko, I more in love with this song. It's made by Gary Jules and below is not the actual lyrics.
2 All around me are familiar faces and worn out places. They are bright and early for their daily races, but they are going nowhere. Their tears are filling up their glasses and they sit with no expression. I hide my head and I want to drown my sorrow because it seems that there's no tomorrow.
2 Children waiting for the day they feel good when people say, "Happy birthday." They are made to feel the way that every child should and they sit and listen. I went to school and I was very nervous because no one knew me. I said, "Hello teacher, tell me what's my lesson?" and he looks right through me.
3 And I find it kinda funny and find it kinda sad. The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had. I find it hard to tell you and find it hard to take. When people run in circles, it's a very very mad world.
