1 I feel it in my finger, I feel it in my toes. Well, not exactly, but I sure can see it with my eyes. Last night, in Djakarta Theater, something funny happened on the screen.
2 No, it's not because it's a comedy. But, because on the screen there's a tiny pointer (compare to the screen size of course) similar to the pointer in Windows.
3 And after that, things get worse. The screen shifted a little and voila, the windows taskbar is shown at the bottom. yeah, it's a windows taskbar ladies and gentleman. And that's one gigantic start menu I've ever seen.
4 So what, you said? Well, it's one thing to see ur taskbar on your pc, but on public screen like that? They usually can hide it very well. It's something that we always say, "uuu...cool. How did they put that on screen?"
5 One more example that I've encountered several month ago. I was at the ATM booth, and suddenly the power went down. It was pitch black for thirty second and suddenly the electricity kicked in again.
6 The ATM is reboot and guess what, yup it's the famous Windows flag that shows on the screen, before the main ATM application started.
7 But, the incident in the movie and the ATM booth just a sign that computer is everywhere. It's just a matter of several year away before your toaster will say, "Please insert the second toast and Click OK."
